PHILOSOPHY OF UNIVERSITY OF REGINA CARMELI

As an Augustinian school, URC is influenced by a Christian spirit that lays emphasis on community spirit that is friendly, compassionate, responsible, just and dynamic.

As a Catholic School

University of Regina Carmeli seeks to provide relevant education by helping its clientele attain high self- realization as persons; developing their physical, social, moral, intellectual and spiritual potentials to the full extent, training them for professional work and providing opportunities that will enable them to dedicate themselves to a deep commitment to Christ.

It facilitates learning of today's youth in matters of spiritual and psychological development, and searches for manners to incarnate with living faith the compassionate Christ in a Community of Friends and in humble, enduring service to the needs of the Church especially the poor through Evangelization.

As a Filipino School

University of Regina Carmeli believes that a true Filipino Christian is committed to his faith and country. This is manifested through his love, concern and service to others especially to the least of his brother. Upon graduation, he is expected to become spiritually, morally, intellectually and socially equipped to: lead life reflecting Christ; possess genuine empathy for the less privileged; nurture a pride and love for country; and develop respect for labor, habit of work and self-reliance.

As an Augustinian School

It is a Community of Friends who support one another in search for truth, openness, honesty and love. These are foundations of the school purposes and objectives which are reflections of the Charism as conceived by the Congregation and articulated by the OSA l5th General Chapter.

As a whole, University of Regina Carmeli aim towards the development of the whole man through its curricular offerings namely: Kindergarten I, Kindergarten II, Elementary, High School, Collegiate Courses (Education, Commerce, Liberal Arts, Computer Science and Engineering, and Secretarial Courses), and Graduate Programs. URC intends to create professional and competent leaders as instruments to upgrade the human community and contribute to the OSA thrust, through inspiring him with the spirit of the Gospel and the integration of a liberal Christian education.
