Unity, Charity, and Truth
The seal of the University of
Regina Carmeli symbolically depicts the unity of purpose and noble aspirations
of the Congregation of the Augustinian
Sisters of Our Lady of Consolation concretized in the educative mission
of its schools.
At the center of the seal is a burning heart, symbolic
of the Augustinian Sisters of Our Lady of Consolation's enduring service
to the needs of the
Church, especially the poor. The Staff, Mitre, and Book speak well of St.
Augustine's life of searching. The seal also represents the institution's
motto of "Unity, Charity, and Truth" which expresses its steadfast
commitment to incarnate with living faith the Compassionate Christ in building
Community of Friends.
