VISION STATEMENT

In an environment of freedom, excellence, relevance and collaboration, URC envisions itself to be a provider of a world class professionally competent human resource who can ensure the sustainable growth and development of a Christ-centered, nationalist Catholic Filipino society.

MISSION STATEMENT

To achieve the above vision, URC commits itself to generate and make available to learners programs and services that are:

  1. high quality whose standards are internationally comparable;
  2. affordable to all deserving learners, regardless of gender, origin, race, creed;
  3. in complementary in partnership or in collaboration with higher education institutions, user sectors, and other public and private agencies, both local and foreign;
  4. vital to the dynamically changing local and international environment; and
  5. Christian-Filipino based committed to nurturance of faith and love for country.

Thus URC education shall be viewed as an instrument to harness the creative and productive capacity of the human person to contribute towards the constructive transformation of society.

GENERAL GOALS:

  1. To provide undergraduate and graduate education that is nationalist in character but responsive to international standards of quality and excellence;
  2. To generate and diffuse knowledge in the broad range of disciplines relevant and responsive to the dynamically changing domestic and international environment;
  3. To broaden the access of deserving and qualified students to higher education opportunities;
  4. To optimize the social, institutional and individual returns and benefits derived from the utilization of higher of higher education resources;
  5. To develop and maintain the integrity of the professions or disciplines that will provide leadership for the nation; and
  6. To promote the Catholic - Augustinian culture of commitment to charity, contemplation, action and bias towards the service of the poor.
