MESSAGE FROM THE URCAAI PRESIDENT
Greetings in the Name of the Lord!
The years have passed so swiftly and a lot of changes have taken place
since we left the corridors of our dear Alma Mater. Truly, our Alumni/Carmelians
have gone a long way. Some have traveled far and others have continuously
demonstrated excellence in various fields of endeavor.
It's high time to look back and go back to URC, visit her halls, reminisce
the memories, meet friends, and witness how time, through the loving hands
of God has transformed our beloved URC to what she is now. Indeed, there
is so much to look back and look forward to. A wide array of plans and
activities await the Alumni and each Carmelian.
We are pleased to inform our Alumni and all Carmelians that the University
of Regina Carmeli Alumni Association, Incorporated (URCAAI) had been registered
with the Securities and Exchange Commission on July 9, 2002. The URCAAI
aims, among others, to promote, encourage and foster camaraderie, cooperation,
helpfulness and friendly relations among the Students, Alumni, Faculty
and Administration of the URC.
A grand homecoming will be held on December 3, 2006. The Alumni/Carmelians
are all invited. It will start with a motorcade at 8:00 A.M. Among the
highlights of the affair are the recognition of achievers, awarding of
outstanding alumni and election of the new set of officers of the Association.
We call on our dear Alumni and all Carmelians. We can pave the way to
make a difference. We can not do everything for our dear Alma Mater, but
hand in hand, we can do something. Together, let us make it great, for
the glory of God and URC.
