COLLEGE DEPARTMENT OBJECTIVES

URC is convinced in the reality of man as he relates to society. Thus, URC views man as full, total and integral individual as he relates to himself, to others and to God.

The URC College Department shall provide a general education program that will promote in each student a sense of Christian national identity, cultural consciousness, social awareness, moral integrity and spiritual vigor in his chosen field of endeavor.

The College Department is committed to:

SPIRITUALLY AND MORALLY - create an atmosphere ardently activated with Christian dynamism through the essence of the living Gospel as translated in our Catholic faith where freedom and charity exist for the graduate's total development.

SOCIALLY - provide meaningful opportunities for wholesome interaction and learning which will promote love and justice for the realization of a deeper commitment to others, through actual involvement in the MRBOLC's projects, especially for the PDOE, thus creating a just and humane society.

INTELLECTUALLY - develop the student's God-given gifts, to inculcate a strong sense of values, with competence to judge rightly, thus, preparing him for a more challenging and productive professional or vocational life.

CULTURALLY - reinforce the student's understanding of the historical development of the Philippines, Asia and the World; thus, imbuing in him patriotic commitment.

PHYSICALLY - create well-balanced activities for each student to develop his respect for sound and healthy body, being the temple of the Holy Spirit, to attain peaceful minds, to enable him to become active participant in the transformation of the society.
