VISION
The Hospitality Management Program envisions itself to be the global center of Excellence in the Hospitality Industry in Region III.
MISSION
Guided by the Catholic Augustinian Spirit, its commits itself to:
- Provide a current and high quality education in preparing the students for careers in the words of independent lodging, food service and recreation related industries;
- Provide access to both local and international opportunities in hospitality industry.
- Promote local and international linkages in collaboration with BarCIE International Center through IPTP;
- Promote research studies that solely deals with the changing environment of the hospitality industry both locally and internationally; and
- Promote Augustinian virtues of respect for human dignity and cultivate love for cultural legacy.
GOALS
It is expected that graduates of the Hospitality Management Program will:
- Provide Hospitality Management students with the opportunity to acquire practical knowledge, skills, desirable attitudes on actual hotel and restaurant, tourist operations and comparable with international standards.
- Utilize BarCIE International Center as training Laboratory whereby students knowledge on food service, bar, housekeeping and front desk skills are enhanced.
- Provide improvement of curriculum to keep abreast with the emerging international programs in hospitality industry.
- Provide concepts and work situations whereby students can make use of the test what they have learned in the school.
- Imbue students upon entry level their natured and training capability for supervisory and managerial positions.
- Intensify the global competitiveness of students through their continuous training, exposure and acculturation in foreign country.
