PROGRAMS
The University of Regina
Carmeli manages and promotes academic, research,
outreach and extension services. Research is
viewed to
play a vital role in the effective delivery
of the trilogical functions of the university
as a higher institution of education. It hopes
to broaden its perspective by way of stimulating
learning, critical and creative thinking as
well as finding ways and means on how knowledge
can be applied to the larger community. For
outreach and extension, three entries assume
respective responsibility: 1) BarCIE for innovative
programs, outreach projects, trainings, instructional
materials development, human resource development,
alternative school system, night college and
testing; 2) MRBOLC for community development
linkages, spiritual formation, planning and
alternative education; and 3) Academic Community
Extension Services for immersion, exposure,
linkaging, trainings, medical mission, night
high school, catechetics, day care, livelihood
and documentation of micro-management.
